Preschool at SJCS
Our Montessori preschool program offers a variety of student experiences that foster faith, curiosity, independence, practical life skills, and development of the whole child. In alignment with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, our curriculum cultivates kindergarten readiness skills in both early math and language arts. Our specials include music, art, and physical education, offering a well-rounded education with our faith foundation and mission of service. We provide a healthy balance of structured time and free, creative time, giving little minds the opportunity to develop curiosity, independence, and life skills that will prepare them for their school days ahead.

One of the biggest rewards we see with our youngest students is that beginning journey to a life-long love of learning. Our small classrooms with caring teachers will help even the littlest of ones develop that passion to learn and grow. Is it worth the cost?
Without a doubt, Saint Joseph Catholic School is WORTH IT! We are grateful to be part of a community where we build relationships with the teachers, faculty and staff of the school and with other parents in our daughter’s classroom. All of the teachers, faculty and staff know our daughter by name, and they know us by name, too. This solidifies, for me, the level of safety and security provided at SJCS. There is no other place we’d rather have our daughter!
